We’ve been hard at work on Squeezebox Stories, recording and meeting people all over California. So far, our travels have taken us to San Francisco, Cotati, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Escondido. A trip to Fresno is next on the agenda.

Our project is sponsored by the Arhoolie Foundation, whose mission is ”the documentation, dissemination, and presentation of authentic traditional and regional vernacular musics and by these activities educate and enlighten the public as well as support and reinforce traditional community values.”

It’s such an honor to work with these folks, and we’re honored to have our project spotlighted on their website.
